Ola 'TheRAWPoet' Adene is an award-winning filmmaker with credits as a director, screenwriter, producer, and actor, whose work blends faith, social impact, and purposeful storytelling. He wrote the screenplay for the viral faith-based trilogy Prophet Suddenly 1, 2 & 3, also starring as the fan-favourite CK, “The Hot Cake.” He is also the writer of Big Kala: A Redemption Story, an original, yet-to-be-released seven-part faith-based limited-series thriller. In 2024, he won the European Union Short Film Contest at the Zuma Film Festival for his short film Ipekere, and was co-nominated for Best Screenplay at the 2022 International Christian Film & Music Festival for The Winlos’ film, A Whisper in the Fog.

His directorial works include After Genesis (2025), Beyond Reasonable Doubt (2025), Anti-Fragile (2024), and Serendipity (2023)—an official selection at the Begin Film Festival 2023. He is also the producer of Israel Eziedo’s The Hole Within (Unreleased). Beyond film-making, Ola is the founder and Program Director of Before Action Academy, a storytelling and screenwriting initiative through which over 40 emerging filmmakers have been trained to develop stronger narrative foundations, character depth, and story clarity for film. His teaching approach is grounded in the belief that effective storytelling begins with in-depth story development, which he treats as the core responsibility in crafting narratives that are emotionally honest, structurally sound, and culturally resonant. For Ola, creativity is a superpower, and he uses it to tell stories that matter—and tell them well.
